About My Local Links

My Local Links is a free local directory created to help people in Pinetown and surrounding areas find trusted businesses, services, and useful contacts more easily.

The idea is simple: if someone has used a plumber, electrician, food supplier, garden service, repair person, cleaner, or any other local service and would happily recommend them, it would be helpful to have those details in one easy place.

Many of us have had that moment where we know we saved a good contact somewhere… but whether it is in an old WhatsApp message, on a scrap of paper, in a forgotten screenshot, or hiding somewhere in our phone is another story.

I often see people in local WhatsApp groups asking things like, “Does anyone know a good plumber?” or “Can anyone recommend someone reliable?” So My Local Links was created as a simple way to gather those trusted recommendations and make them easier for all of us to find.

Listings are free, but businesses and services must give permission before their details are added. This helps keep everything correct, respectful, and up to date.

Although the focus is on local businesses and services, good recommended contacts from nearby areas may also be included if they are useful to the community.

Times are getting tough, petrol is expensive, and many of us are trying to support people closer to home.

This site is still growing, so more categories and listings will be added as we go.

If you know of a good local business or service, please feel free to recommend them.
